MEET GRETCHEN CAMPBELL

Twenty Years in the Room.

Gretchen Campbell did not stumble into working with teenagers. She chose them. From the beginning of her career she was drawn to adolescents, to the complexity of how they think, what they feel, and why they do what they do. Two decades later that curiosity has never left.

She built her career inside schools, community centers, and her own grouppractice in North Carolina—Grow, Encourage, Empower. Along the way she noticed something consistent: teenagers were not the problem. The gap between teenagers and the adults trying to reach them was. That insight became the foundation of everything she does.

Author. Coach. Practice Owner. Speaker.

The Work

Gretchen is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in adolescent mental health, mother and daughter relationships, and family communication. Her work with mothers and daughters led her to write I'm a Mom of a Teen Girl, Help! in 2019, a bestselling guide that opened a conversation she has been leading ever since through her weekly podcast, parent coaching, and speaking engagements.

She also coaches therapists who are ready to build practices of their own. Having scaled her own solo practice into Grow Encourage Empower, a thriving group therapy practice and wellness space in North Carolina serving adolescents, Gen Z clients, and the Millennial generation, she brings real world experience to every coaching relationship. She is not teaching theory. She is teaching what actually worked.
